Once of the draw backs was that post did not show up in the 'unread posts search'

In an short term solution until the next big website upgrade in September, you will see a notification on the top right of your screen if there is any unread posts in a group that you are a member of.

If it is still there, even if you think that you have read all the posts, then try again.
