If you can try before you buy, then do. I have not used any of those barrels so can't say.

I have use'd the JnJ Ceramic barrell on a Tippmann 98 I used to own and I though that it was a fantastic barrel on the 98.

Smart parts tear drop barrell i found the best for the 98, alot of poeple swear by the j & j's though.

Those barrells your looking at are great but very expensive for what they are

Just be mindful of "Tippmann Syndrome" Most of us Woodsballers have had it. For the cost of a barrel upgrade, you'd almost pick up a better marker. The 98 is great, don't get me wrong, but in getting on of those barrels, you'd almost be spending what the marker is worth. If your anyway interested in an upgrade, I have an A5 for sale with two different barrels.

Yeah, its a fairly significant upgrade. For one you have an increase rate of fire from the cyclone feed. I found it a much better marker all round. The 98 is fun, but the A5 is a much more serious marker if you wanted to up your game without going down the electro route e.g. TM7 and TM15.

I'd reccommend the A5, they're a great marker. The A5 was my first marker and still serves as my backup.

Stay clear of the Straightline, unless you use a good quality paint and have zero breaks it will be a pain, the minute you have a dirty barrel it will throw the accuracy well off. J&J are good barrels to use, the Flatline, once mastered is a good one, but as Ironclaw said, once you start messing with a Tippmann, the costs climb and by the time you are finished you could have bought something that does all for a fraction of the price.
Shop around, read reviews, see what there is before you make any decision, best way forward.
