    Default Pistols only woodsball games

With the quality of paintball pistols getting better and better, could you see a pistols only game ever happening?

I reckon they could be great games, if set in the right location, there would be much more tension as you try to be more careful and sneaky.

hey would be a hell of a lot cheaper too. A bag of paint would do 4/5 people for a full day.....

Might surprise you how quickly you get through a couple of hundred rounds. The only downside to the new breed of pistols is the initial outlay required if you wanted to play a game the way you are talking.PistolHolsterExtra MagsBelt/pouch for extra mags and co2Enough C02 capsules to last you for a day.I'd say it would be good craic, but I'd personally rather have one strapped to my leg as insurance, or for CQB stuff as opposed to my primary shooter.

I think they would be good. Wouldn't mind giving it a try. It would be great for close quater stuff. Although I've never used a paintball piston before.

the issue with the CO2 sparklets is that they are expensive so even if you don't shoot alot of paint that is an added cost. Not to mention you have to convince enough people to buy a marker they will rarely use.

Although it defeats the purpose of a pistol, if you expect to shoot a lot, then most pistols can be hooked to to a remote line for constant air.

I don't see why it defeats the purpose. Have an ASA screwed onto a tank on your back with the two ports leading out to 2 remote lines and a dual pistol setup and you have one pistol in each hand, and enough air (more consistent too) to last for ages, and not too heavy either.

I mean defeats the purpose of the complete mobility of a pistol, rather than it being tethered to you.

It will be interesting to see how the Tippmann TPX tether system works. Extra mags for that are cheap so you can easily buy an extra 4/5.

As opposed to...being able to chuck it at someone's head :P ?

People tether their pistols with cable anyway in real life and airsoft, so as not to lose them. The mobility comes from the shape and size, you won't be swapping hands much with them anyway.

Yes, remotes can get tangled in bushes, but thats not enough of a deterrent in the landscape you usually encounter here, I don't think.

it'd be interesting to try for a day, if it was cheaper and air was used in place of CO2
Lechery, sir, it provokes, and unprovokes; it provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance

CO2 is only 50 cents apiece if bought in bulk (50 at a time from MAXS)

A TPX will do you 3 1/2 mags out of that.

    Expensive, but SO MUCH FUN!!!
