There are a lot of complaints going about about the price for this in the UK. Priced at £54.99. Not sure if similar pricing in the south (though I'm guessing probably will).

You can buy a mono goggle millitary grade for about 250 and 500 for a full goggle

my friend works in a cinema. when transformers 2 was released they were given two sets of NVGs from Sony, military grade ones. they were told to stand at the front of the cinema and just watch the audience for anyone filming.

but he said they used to just use 'em to look around the crowd, find the couple making out at the back, and flash the torch at 'em every now and then for shiggles!

They kept this a secret for up to 3 weeks before release so they knew it would be a bad thing, I think its a real shame when the PC is what made Cod4 succesful and they have gone and slapped PC gamers in the face with this release

It's been known for ages that they wouldn't have dedicated servers on PC and also no mods.

There has been a petition going around for a few months trying to get them to give dedicated servers.

maps have also been capped at 9 v 9...there wont be any more than 18 players per map

Just a stupid move by Activision, think it's probably some attempt to merge PS3, Xbox and PC gamers all together, like they had on the Dreamcast for Quake 3.
